Permanent training areas focus on two major themes:
Supply-chain management is the transverse support function par excellence, with responsibilities extending from the initial order to its final execution. The Supply Chain Manager provides the interface between all streams and the sales department, the quality department, accounting, and the production sites.
The Malting Operations Manager has a hand in determining malt production objectives, along with costs, delivery times, quality, and quantity. This implies a close collaboration with all Malteurop’s departments, with the brewer customers, and with the barley suppliers.
In order to offer its customers new gains in added value, Malteurop now integrates intangible competencies such as risk management. Malteurop handles management of industrial risks, risks of interruption of supplies of raw materials, and financial risks related to the volatility of malting barley prices.
